By creating an account or using ResuMintAI ("we," "us," "the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. What ResuMintAI Does

ResuMintAI is an AI-assisted tool that rewrites resume content to better match a job description you provide, checks the result against common ATS (applicant tracking system) rules, and lets you download the result as a .docx or .pdf file. It is a writing aid, not a guarantee of interviews, job offers, or any other outcome.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use ResuMintAI. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Your Account

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Please use accurate information when you sign up, and don't create multiple accounts to bypass free-trial limits.

4. Free Trial and Subscriptions

• You can try ResuMintAI for free on a limited basis before an account is required; the full free allowance requires a verified account.
• After your free allowance is used, continued use requires a paid subscription, billed monthly at the rate shown for your region.
• Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel anytime; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and we don't provide partial refunds for unused time.
• All payments are processed securely by Stripe or Razorpay. We never handle or store your raw card details.

5. AI-Generated Content — Please Read This

ResuMintAI uses AI to rewrite your resume content. We design the system to only rephrase what you actually provide and never invent new experience, employers, dates, or skills — but AI systems can still make mistakes, and this risk is real, especially in our "Bold" mode. Bold mode is currently a beta feature: it rewrites more aggressively than Normal or Mild mode, and it carries a meaningfully higher chance of overstating your experience or introducing a detail that isn't actually true. We do not recommend using Bold-mode output in a real application without carefully reviewing every change yourself first.

You are solely responsible for reviewing every tailored resume before using it in a real job application. Submitting inaccurate information on a job application — whether AI-generated or not — is your responsibility, not ours. Never submit a resume you haven't personally reviewed and confirmed to be accurate.

6. Your Content

You retain full ownership of your resume and any content you upload or paste into ResuMintAI. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process that content solely to provide the tailoring service to you — we don't use your resume content for any other purpose, and we don't claim any ownership over it.

You confirm that you have the right to submit the content you upload, and that it doesn't infringe anyone else's rights.

7. Acceptable Use

Please don't:

• Use the Service to generate a resume on someone else's behalf without their permission
• Attempt to bypass free-trial limits through multiple accounts, scripts, or automation
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the Service
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose

8. Service Availability

We aim to keep ResuMintAI reliable, but especially while parts of the Service rely on free-tier infrastructure, it may occasionally be slow, temporarily unavailable, or produce lower-quality output than expected. We'll do our best to communicate major issues but don't guarantee uninterrupted availability.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

ResuMintAI is provided "as is." We don't guarantee that using the Service will result in interviews, job offers, or any particular outcome, or that tailored output will pass every ATS system it might encounter.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, ResuMintAI and its operator aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including any consequences of submitting AI-tailored content to an employer. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim arose.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You can stop using the Service and request deletion of your account at any time — see our Privacy Policy for how.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do; if changes are significant, we'll make a reasonable effort to notify you.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
